Comments on "Three Dog Bakery - Newport Beach"
That's just so .... < insert jealousy masquerading as righteous indignation here > (jealousy at financial wherewithal, not necessarily approval of fiscal priorities)
The real question is, why didn't you buy a treat and taste it? Where's the dedication?
Julian,
I tried my best to mask my "jealousy masquerading as righteous indignation" when writing this post...so I absolutely get what you mean.
CP,
Mmmm...mystery meat cookies! How did I ever resist?!
I remember watching a show on Three Dog Bakery years ago. The original store encouraged owners to bring in their pets, and yes, they were made out of all natural ingredients that even people could eat them. I believe they use carob for dipping their treats.
As for the meat products....
I actually take my dog here all the time. Here birthday cake comes from here every year and she was actually in their costume contest last year on Halloween.....Wow....that's kind of embarassing....Why did I just tell you that?
Hi Elmo - Okay....I need to come clean, we buy Da Boyz Three Dogs Bakery brand "Lick and Crunch". Whew, I feel better now! Whenever we visit Seattle we make sure to drop by as well. Tried tasting it.....sort of like an Oreo sans most of the flavor....
Vegasbuff,
Wow! I would've liked to have seen that show. I would only eat one if I saw another human being eating one.
Griffin,
It takes a man to admit that! HA! I don't have pets, but if I had a dog, I'd put a costume on it too...a dog costume. Irony is funny.
Kirk,
Well if it's good enough for Da Boyz, perhaps it should be me who should be ashamed for not actually tasting one myself.
